ABSTRACT

The fundamental literature concerning the theory of electrochemical reactor dynamics is surveyed and its principles are briefly discussed. Analysis is centered around deterministic and stoichastic approaches, distinguishing between ideal and nonideal reactor models and employed primarily for the description of the dynamic behaviour of electrolysers. The techniques bring together various areas of science and engineering and illustrate the high extent of interdisciplinary cross-fertilisation.
