Irrigation with magnetic water was recently recommended for an improved crop production. Nevertheless, its beneficial effect is controversial. Thus, a reassessment of the technique was required. This was carried out with eggplant as the tested crop. The results obtained showed that use of magnetic water for crop irrigation under optimal growth conditions is not preferential and has no advantages on the conventional drip irrigation.
