ABSTRACT
 
This paper reports on the research activities that have been done on wheat landraces, newly introduced wheat cultivars and durum wheats grown in Jordan. Breeding, physical properties and chemical characteristics of wheat grain, flour and bread are discussed and compared with recent literature.
