The Sila and the Serre batholiths, Southern Italy, have been the target areas of an extensive petrogenetic research program, which included an assessment of their potential to host granite-related ore deposits. A reconnaissance and follow-up fluid inclusion study has been carried out, in order to evaluate whether or not the batholiths are potential ore carriers.
