ABSTRACT

Numerous studies world-wide have well documented pollution sources by means of elemental concentration and isotopic (Pb) data; such studies in Italy are generally lacking.

This paper reports preliminary results from an ongoing research on heavy-metal content and lead isotopic composition of soils from an industrially contaminated site in the urban outskirts of Naples, Italy.
