ABSTRACT

Our research group has been studying a number of molecular markers in breast cancer biopsies from patients with locally advanced disease treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapies. The aim was to find molecules that could be related and explain the mechanisms of resistance to certain chemotherapies, and more importantly to identify useful markers that can predict the response to the treatments. In this review we will summarized our results and compare them with other related recently published.
