ABSTRACT

Polymeric electroluminescent devices are currently met on the market, since light electroluminescent diodes (LEDs) take many advantages from these systems concerning preparation and operation as compared to other classical display systems. This review focuses on polyfluorenes (PFs) as emitting materials in LEDs which were introduced in the literature during the past 15 years and on the different pathways to obtain the most highly efficient LEDs.
