ABSTRACT

A series of novel oxazole-pyrimidines 6a, 6b, 8, 19a, 19b, 19c, 27a and 27b as well as pyrimido-oxazines 11, 24a, and 24b are synthesized from applying unsaturated-, active-, and resonance stabilized phosphonium salts to violuric acid in alkaline medium. The effects of the new compounds on the central nervous system (CNS) were evaluated pharmacologically in mice.
