ABSTRACT

Some of the important problems in the chemical engineering are presented. The effects of gas flow,  surfactants and capillary waves on the mass transfer in film flow are shown. The mass transfer kinetics in boundary layer approximation is submitted in the cases of interphase mass transfer in gas-liquid and liquid-liquid systems and counter current flows. The non-linear mass transfer effects are offered in gas (liquid)-solid systems and two phase systems. In this base a linear stability analysis is exhibited and self-organizing dissipative structures are investigated in the cases of absorption and evaporation in gas-liquid immobile layers. Different problem solutions in the fields of parameter identification and incorrectness of the inverse problems, average concentration models and scale-up, and process system engineering, are presented too.
