ABSTRACT

Clerodendrum inerme is an ornamental plant and is widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The plants of C. inerme were found to be naturally affected by mosaic and chlorotic spots. Studies on variations in expression of symptoms on different hosts, and confirmation by electron microscopy were done to establish the viral nature of the disease in the C. inerme plants.
