ABSTRACT
 
Boundary layer solutions are presented for the steady state heat transfer in an axisymmetric stagnation flow of a micropolar fluid on an infinite circular cylinder. Consideration has been given for constant wall temperature and adiabatic wall boundary conditions. Numerical results for the temperature distribution and solutions for the wall values of the temperature function have been obtained for a range of values of the material parameters and Reynolds number.
