ABSTRACT

The construction technique of the great pyramids of Egypt has long been a question under debate. Several pieces of visual, physical, morphological and analytical evidences indicate that the masonry was built by a moulding procedure involving only the use of materials (limestone, natron, lime) that were available in the region of Cairo. A complete investigation of the work to lift up the ingredients of the Khufu pyramid is discussed.
