ABSTRACT

The rotational intensity framework (or linestrength) of oxygen’s atmospheric transitions is deduced from data obtained under various experimental conditions. Evaluation is from observed intensity of spectral lines of either emission and absorption spectra, with latter featured by both contributions in a dynamic equilibrium. Obtained structures, from data culled from the literature of last decades, are compared with theoretical models related to the intermediate (a-b) and the full (b) case of Hund. Comparisons may also allow an appraisal of data relilability, along with the respective experimental approach.
