ABSTRACT
 
Using Bohr circular orbits, it is shown that (a) for the equilateral triangular H3+ cation,  the electron rule of two or duplet rule is satisfied simultaneously by the three hydrogen atoms; (b) for B2H6, the duplet rule for the six hydrogen atoms and the electron rule of eight or octet rule for the two boron atoms are satisfied simultaneously.
