ABSTRACT

Well known tools in econometric analysis, the indirect least squares (ILS), and the two-stage least squares (2SLS) technique are investigated as potentially adaptable linear regression methods in applied chemical sciences. Certain properties of the saturated air-water system, and operating variables in an air-water dehumidification process serve for quantitative examples. Cautiously promising results invite an in-depth exploration of the subject matter.
