The novel approach of conducting polymer in ligand exchange and molecular imprinting technique for enantiorecognition and separation are reviewed from the application point of view in this article. Diversity of polypyrrole as oxidized and overoxidized film and soluble colloidal form have been utilized for chiral discrimination and the results using several electrochemical and analytical techniques have been discussed.
