ABSTRACT

Fuzzy classification techniques represent a useful and powerful tool in analytical chemistry. The applications section of this review demonstrates advantages of fuzzy clustering with respect to spectral library search and spectra interpretation, fuzzy calibration of analytical methods and fuzzy robust estimation of location and spread, and fuzzy modeling of environmental, SAR and QSAR data.
