ABSTRACT

This paper reviews some recent work to examine the structures of hydrogen-bonded and other van der Waals complexes involving larger aromatic molecules. The focus is to compare the results of rotational coherence measurements with the results of Molecular Mechanics structure calculations. Several types of systems are discussed, to explore the applicability of structure calculations, including complexes of perylene, bianthryl, bifluorenyl and PPD.
