The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method is described and a copper electrode immersed in a citric acid solution system is studied. A computer data analysis procedure is developed, simulating experimental impedance data by means of an equivalent circuit. Kramers-Kronig relations were used to validate the impedance data.
