ABSTRACT

Novel charge-mosaic membranes composed with a poly 4-vinylpyridine (p4VP) microsphere as a cationic element and a poly (sodium styrenesulfonate) linear polymer IpSSS) as an anionic element could be applied effectively to separation between electrolytes and non-electrolytes. Mosaic structure of the membrane was confirmed by SEM observation and electrical conductivity measurement.
