ABSTRACT

Iron zeolite catalysts (among them Fe-ZSM-5 systems) have shown, in the last decade, their high efficiency in both oxidation reactions and nitrogen oxides abatment reactions. It is obvious that the preparation of such materials is crucial. In this paper an overview of the past and recent preparations will be given. Hydrothermal synthesis, FeCl3 sublimation method, exchange in aqueous solution, solid-solid exchange, oxalate methods and others less prevalent methods, are detailed in this short review.
