Previously, a number of estradiol metal complexes have been forwarded as potential diagnostic agents for estrogen positive cancers. Here, an estradiol derivative linked to the metal binding 1,4,7,10-tetraaza-cyclododecane-1,4,7-triacetate (DO3A) has been synthesized.
