The goal of our current work was to develop new methods for the synthesis of ligands and their application in the synthesis of  metallodendrimers. This involves the following two parts:

A. synthesis of novel functionalised oligopyridines, especially, 2,2’:6’,2”-trpyridines (tpy) and 2,2’-bipyridines(bpy). B. synthesis of metal complexes.
