ABSTRACT
 
Gaseous fuels, represented by hydrogen  and natural gas are clean and some of them are renewable, some of them can be produced from coal. Supercritical adsorption plays an important role in the development of clean fuel industry. Present state and research progress in the study of supercritical  adsorption were introduced. Some new achievements of supercritical adsorption in the engineering respect were also presented.
