During the past several years, we strived to develop preparation techniques for efficient production of pure endohedral metallofullerenes. This allowed us to prepare and isolate a series of endohedral metallofullerenes, which include most elements in the lanthanide series. With sufficient amount of these materials, we carried out measurements on a variety of properites from structural, electronic, magnetic, and nonlinear optical properties, to film formation properties.
