ABSTRACT

This paper describes individual differences in subjective preference and diffuseness of sound fields. Individual differences in preference for listening level and inter-aural crosscorrelation (IACC) are discussed for music motifs A and B. For investigating individual’s differences for subjective diffuseness, one third octave band noises (center frequencies: 0.25 kHz, O.5kHz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz and 4 kHz) are taken as sound sources. Also, individual differences in subjective diffuseness are described with change in horizontal angle of reflections.
