ABSTRACT
 
Scorpion neurotoxins form a large family of polymorphic single chain small proteins. This polymorphism is structural as well as pharmacological. We present here an overview of the structural as well as of the pharmacological features found in these proteins and tempt to explain the structural basis of their various specificities.
